Hope, like her mother, had decent type, but a long head. Balthazar had nice overall type, and a shorter, broader head. Up to this time his mother had been in excellent health, and even at 18 months of age had not developed any tumors, despite being on the chubby side. Hope's grandmother, Aiko, had also been in decent health, except for allergies, up to this point, and also at 18 months of age had not developed any tumors. I hoped this tendency would be passed on to the offspring of this litter. The color I hoped for in this litter was Russian dove, unfortunately I did not get my wish. Instead I did get chocolate, which at that point I decided to start pursuing instead of Russian dove.
